Who We Are

WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Riverfront Real Estate specialises in the Sale and Leasing of waterfront properties and land along the Hawkesbury River and Berowra Waters. Many of these unique river settlements have no road access and can only be reached by boat, ensuring your privacy and seclusion. Without suburban pollution or traffic, this majestic river is spectacularly beautiful. Remarkably, the price of waterfront property along the Lower Hawkesbury River remains very attractive.

Enjoy the unique lifestyle of a waterfront home. With a boat at your front door and over 4,000 square kilometres of shoreline and 200 navigable kilometres of water to explore in one of the world’s most scenic, natural waterways – it’s the ideal locale for a fabulous holiday home or sea change.

As River Residents ourselves, we know the area better than most and will be only too happy to show you around this beautiful area that we proudly call home. So don’t delay – make yourself at home with Riverfront Real Estate.

OUR TEAM

CAELIA COLLINS – Principal & Lead Sales Agent

As the Director and Principal of her agency, Riverfront Real Estate, Caelia delivers a personal, attentive and refreshing level of service. She is a dynamic agent with a natural abundance of energy and genuine warmth.

Caelia holds a Bachelor of Arts (International Aid & Development, and, Sustainable Development) and a Diploma in Real Estate Agency Management. Her Real Estate career started in North Sydney in 2008, in Commercial Leasing (highrises), and in 2009 she moved to her first Residential Sales role in Balmain – a place she called home for a decade.

Now living on the majestic Hawkesbury River, Caelia specialises in Waterfront Sales and is delighted to be honing her skills, and furthering her love of Real Estate here in her own backyard. Living at a water access only property herself, she knows the river and its settlements exceptionally well. If you are contemplating life on the river – get in touch today and she’ll be only too happy to guide you around.

Fun fact: Caelia has illegally crossed the Brazil/Argentina border twice… once accidentally, the other with help from authorities

ROBERT (Bob) POWELL – Associate Agent

Bob has lived in Brooklyn for the past 15 years so knows the area well. He even has a property on the river so understands some of the amazing benefits that living on the water can bring. Bob’s background is in engineering with a BSc (hon) in Automotive Engineering, but now spends his time helping people enjoy the local area. He runs the local kayak hire business, can be found serving drinks on the Riverboat Postman, or taking excited clients to visit properties located on the river. You’ll find him most mornings walking with his partner Ingrid and his two border collies (Peppa and Wynnie) along the waters edge, and catching up with the locals at the cafe at all times of the day.

Fun fact: Bob has raced two solar cars in the World Solar Challenge from Darwin to Adelaide, and was team manager of the Australian champion team in 1993.

REBECCA IRONMONGER – Property Manager

Rebecca is our routine inspection queen! Her utter diligence provides for impeccably detailed and thorough property inspections – ensuring a great outcome for tenants and Landlords alike. She is also a joy to be around – her smile and laugh could light up any room, which helps to put all she meets at ease. Originally from the UK, Rebecca and her husband moved to the beautiful river suburb of Bar Point just a year ago and instantly fell in love with the river life and locals. Rebecca loves a chat and enjoys getting to know all our amazing clients that make up this wonderful community.

Fun fact: Rebecca can’t ski unless she’s had an (alcoholic) hot chocolate beforehand!

BEN PIGNEGUY – Associate Agent

The incredibly tolerant and supportive husband of our Director (Caelia), Ben is a qualified agent and when not too busy with his own business (The Riverboat Postman) he moonlights at Riverfront as the company ‘volunteer’. Ever willing to chip in to support our team and clients as needed. Ben has lived on the river since 1978, (which makes him a bonafide ‘local’) and with a world class ability to retain information and history, he is a human encyclopedia of all things river. His love of this river flows through his veins, and he is particularly passionate about the area’s Indigenous origins.

Fun fact: Ben loves to play guitar and is a proud ‘parrot head’ (and those of you who are also Jimmy Buffet fans will know what that means!)

JOHN (Hawkeye) HAWKES – Boat Captain

Hawkeye has lived and worked on the river for more years than he can count! He is a qualified coxswain and steps in to assist us with boat logistics. He is a keen fly fisherman and was the caretaker of the old Outward bound Camp/ Camp Knox at Fishermans Point for decades. He knows the river intimately and will be overjoyed to share his river tales with you when you meet him!

Fun fact: Hawkeye’s favourite pass time is fly fishing from his canoe!
